The 20mm brown alligator strap with zigzag stitching

Two-tone brown is the most consensual tone in the Darkgator range; the zigzag stitching is what takes it out of that. One keeps the strap in the watchmaking register, the other gives it a signature. It is a balance few makers attempt on an exotic hide.

Mississippi alligator under CITES certificate

The hide is supplied under CITES certificate and tanned in Tuscany. Large scales, two-tone tanning, drum dyeing that enters the thickness instead of staying on the surface. That traceability is documented from tannery to finished strap.

Our workshop images show it on a Rolex 5513. On a patinated steel diving case, alligator brown brings the material a smooth leather lacks, without shifting to the dressed register of a glossy crocodile.
