What makes this version particular is what was not done to it. Neither face is smoothed, no patina is applied in the workshop. The leather arrives as it leaves the tannery. Real wear does the rest, and the result will be particular to your wrist.

White stitching rather than red

White stitching is the quiet reading of the Horseman. It draws the outline without introducing colour, which makes the strap wearable with watches where red would be too much — a dressed three-hander, a black-dial diver.

A raw hide of rare suppleness

This raw hide is rare and difficult to work. Its density gives it a suppleness calf does not reach: the strap follows the wrist from the first fitting, with no breaking-in period. 3.5 mm at the lugs, 2 mm at the buckle.
