The 18mm Heavy Calf leather watch strap in black with contrasting white stitching is a fully impermeable leather, certified 100 m water-resistant. At 18mm the Heavy Calf goes on slim and dress watches you would rather not remove at the pool. It is the model that lets you keep leather on the wrist without removing it before water.

A hydrophobic tanning developed with an Italian tannery

The Heavy Calf's calfskin is not surface-treated: it is hydrophobically tanned right through, by a process Hirsch developed with a specialist Italian tannery. Water does not enter the fibre, it runs off.

A construction that holds

Hirsch edge-folding: the upper leather and the waterproof lining are bonded to each other, not merely glued. The finishing is done by hand, the edges carefully worked.

Quick Release

The tool-free Hirsch Quick Release spring-bar system avoids the spring-bar tool and the watchmaker. Hypoallergenic steel buckle included.
